Dave Chislett forwarded some short stories to me to have a look at a while back and I thought that some of them were dead certs to be turned into graphic novelettes. What Boys Will be was the first one I tackled, my biggest challenge on this was to try not to make the violence too gratuitous yet turn what starts as a light hearted day out-for-the-lads into something more sinister.
