Dave Chislett forwarded some short stories to me to have a look at and I thought that some of them were dead certs to be turned into graphic novelettes. What Boys Will be was the first one I tackled, my biggest challenge on this was to try not to make the violence too gratuitous yet turn what starts as a light hearted day out-for-the-lads into something more sinister.

I think I didn't get the ending quite clear enough. The two mates being hounded by a lynch-mob out for blood, their escape stymied by the all too often occurrence (Southy Africa-wise) of the car being nicked (well it was a Golf - therefore highly prised by car thieves at the moment)...?
